and sculpting. Azizi is the sister on the right. She
specializes in poetry, script writing and art therapy.
Azizi is fourteen months older than Star.

Welcome to The Art of Herstory. This website is designed by the Carle sisters to illustrate how art can be expressed through different methods. The Carle sisters use their art to inspire self-expression, to address everyday issues, to expose the beauty of the inner city and the individual’s living in it. The sisters embrace their African American past, present and future experience, and inner-city culture. They hope to leave you with a seed of hope and a thought of peace.
